This episode covers the Islamic principle of ‘A home in which Allah is remembered’ and how through the example of the Holy Prophet (sa), during the current ‘lockdown’ climate of the COVID-19 pandemic we can lead a unified and loving life with our family.
The Questions covered in this episode are:
1) Some news reports indicate a rise in marital breakdowns in some parts of the world due to spending so much time together, what solution does Islam provide?
2) With an extra person in the home (husband who would usually be out working during the day, or an elder son/daughter home from university) what can be done to help around in the house?
3) How to balance and concentrate on work in this new work atmosphere (i.e. the home)?
4) Students are facing uncertainty due to schools, colleges & universities being shut down. Also, social life is being affected. What would be an Islamic attitude to adopt in this regard?
The panellists (Respected Hafiz Zafrullah sahib & Respected Mansoor Ahmad Zia sahib) answer the questions posed in light of Islamic teachings.
